SBA Programs Enhances Through American Recovery Act
As a result of the President signing the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act on February 17, 2009, SBA has been assigned a key role in assisting with our nation’s economic recovery. The Recovery Act provided for several changes to SBA programs and services that will help to stimulate the economy, re-invest in small businesses, and create and retain jobs.

The changes provide incentives for lenders giving them additional security to get them to start lending again and loans to small businesses are more affordable then ever as a result of our temporary elimination of loan fees. SBA has dedicated a webpage to the Recovery Act changes so that small businesses can get up to date information on the changes and how they affect them.
